18th Biennale Of SydenyI took some time off this week and manged to get out to Cockatoo Island to have a look at the 18th Biennale of Sydney. Just for fun I took the D700 and the D80IR and a bunch of vintage lenses (Zenitar 16mm f/2.8 Fisheye, Tamron SP 17mm f/3.5, Tamron 24mm f/2.5) and the ever useful Tamron SP 28-75mm f/2.8.

Re: 18th Biennale Of SydenyI like the first Cameron, its a nice shot and makes one really take a deeper look.

No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.

I think I will need to enlist some trickery to get rid of the guy on the LHS foreground though. Thanks buddy Cameron

nope, i reckon leave him there... gerry's photography journey

Re: 18th Biennale Of SydenyWould be easy enough to lose the guy out of the shot if you wanted to but I would try to make the girl more prominent then as well to make her interaction with the artwork the key subject.
Alternatively just leave it as is as a record of the day... that's what I've done with my captures of this event. Photography is not a crime, but perhaps my abuse of artistic license is?
Re: 18th Biennale Of SydenyGood images Cameron....the first really demands some serious attention. Love it!
Regards
