What to do with a bad photo that matters?Try as we might there are always times when we don't get the money shot.
I'm occasionally called upon to deliver the goods at home, at a moments notice, when... well... I'm in no fit state to hold a camera let alone focus it... So this is one of my go to remedies... it's not OOF it's 'ART' !!! Not really a image review... more a confession... Photography is not a crime, but perhaps my abuse of artistic license is?
Re: What to do with a bad photo that matters?Works for me. And if I can't get an image white balanced then it becomes a B&W or sepia toned masterpiece.

No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.

Thought others might like to get some ideas on ways to salvage important moments less well captured. Photography is not a crime, but perhaps my abuse of artistic license is?

Re: What to do with a bad photo that matters?If a photo has personal significance, nothing else matters. Although, the average lay person loves various PS effects so you can go to town on them if you feel that the OOF.
For the record, I have exactly the same picture with cupcakes also out of focus!!! There is some merit to using the P mode with full auto with family events. Just need to remember to flick the AF/MF switch please.
