Arguably, a nicer variant.

I won't be coming today. The cold or 'flu that I have been fighting for the past few weeks has taken hold and I don't want to infect anyone else (like the person that infected me).

Have fun and Happy Birthday D70Users.

Thanks Gary for your hospitality today and to all who attended for a good morning of chatting and playing with "stuff". It was good to meet some of you in person for the first time.

The D800 shots are all perfectly readably in Aperture, thanks Greg for letting me play. So many pixels…

Likewise, thanks Gary and De for the awesome layout and hospitality. Also many thanks Matt for the bag of film, despite my misunderstanding.

Next one's at your place then? :)

It was truly our pleasure. I want to make this a more regular occurrence, btw.

I'm not that silly. I'm about 90Km from you. 80Km would just about get you to Colin's abode.

mmm... well depending on numbers, timing, phase and colour of the moon... we could have a do at my place which is somewhere in between far east and mystic west.
This could be coordinated with a photoshop session quite possibly, I'll just plug a puter into the tv.
Alternatively I might see about getting access to one of the meeting rooms we have around here which is something I need to explore for a model shoot day anyway.
