Really Right Stuff-Up

Poor old RRS!

You might remember that the RRS plates I ordered for my D800E turned up twice.
I emailed them and they asked me to send the duplicate order back to them and that they would reimburse the postage.

I did that, and emailed to advise them of the $19 postage cost.

Today I have received an email from their Returns Department who advise me that they have credited my card with the cost of the original order.
That's $200!

Not only are we Aussies honest, but we are persistent too. I am about to point out their generosity and it will be interesting to see what happens next!

Stay vigilant, don't let them slip extra bucks into your pocket! :rotfl2:

Maybe you could order me a BH40 and L Plate for negative dollars as well - I mean they "should" pay me to use their gear surely :)

Trevor I really commend you for your honesty, I am sure there would be many, many people out there who would simply pocket the dollars. I would probably suggest it may be worth either getting up early or staying up late and giving them a phone call, that will probably sort things out quickly and easily. My experiences with calling American dealers (KEH) has always been very positive. Something about email means that at times things are overlooked or lost in translation (in this case reading).
