Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Re: Walking the lineGeoff
Brilliant! Everything perfect. One thing I would have contemplated...for pictorial reasons....put a little black dot where his eye should be. That would make him look cute, give him more personality....and add a touch of tantalising deception o the pic. Regards
Matt. K
Re: Walking the lineExcwpt the dot. I am happy with her as is. Especially since she is a long way from my basil plants. Mind you they were probably wiped out by yesterday's snow anyway Greg
It's easy to be good... when there is nothing else to do
Re: Walking the lineNot much DOF, but all of it in just the right place!!
1 shot out of focus is a mistake, 10 shots out of focus is an experiment,
100 shots out of focus is a style!, anonymous.

Re: Walking the lineVery good. I would have tilted the image to the right and
cut a bit on the right making the line almost a diagonal to a square crop to give a sense of a bigger climb. But, it is very good as it is.
