Re: Some misc Fuji XPRO shots#2 brillant, you could not have made that better if you tried The hand placement, the choice of book, the position of the book, nailed it.
the others are dwarfed by #2 gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: Some misc Fuji XPRO shotsComposition is excellent but I find that the 3 B&W appear to have no contrast and come across as greyscale.

Re: Some misc Fuji XPRO shotsLove the first one out of the series. There are so many layers and textures to the image which I love.
I'm heading back to Melbourne in two weeks, for two weeks. Would have loved to come up to Sydney to catch up with some of you guys for some urban jamming. Though if anyone might be in Melbourne, give me a yell Ok, back on topic Hassy, Leica, Nikon, iPhone
Come follow the rabbit hole...
Re: Some misc Fuji XPRO shotsI've got to say #2 for me as well. #1 is just too flat and washed out for my taste. #3 is interesting as well but not in the same league as #2

Re: Some misc Fuji XPRO shotsWhilst number 2 is good, I am looking at the first more and more and getting something else out of it. At first, I saw the lack of contrast and thought it was flat. Then, I really saw the layers with the clouds in the background and the lack of contrast gave it a real sense of foreboding, much like the light I saw this morning.
That said, I think additional contrast would help it. Regards, Patrick
Two or three lights, any lens on a light-tight box are sufficient for the realisation of the most convincing image. Man Ray 1935. Our mug is smug
Re: Some misc Fuji XPRO shots#2 I love.
#1 as many have said does look a bit flat and, to me, seems to lean to the left. But I notice the head and shoulders of the person on the walkway with the cloud as their backdrop just ads another dimension. Craig
