So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

#3 is the standout for me. Why? Well, the buildings have the appearance of the 40’s and the overall feel of the picture is not of today. The black and white treatment just adds the cream.

I also love no.2 - the angle you've captured these familiar festive things is different, and well, so very typical of the unique way you 'see' things Matt.
My fave is the beach at Manly, as already mentioned - the mono conversion gives it a feeling of a long time ago. There are several prints around the markets in Manly that are taken from a very similar viewpoint from the 40's and 50's, not a bikinni to be seen, and the gents wore suits and top hats - on the beach! wtf!!?
