POTW 13 Nov 2012

Each week, one of the moderators or administrators selects an image that, for whatever reason, catches their eye. Please feel free to add your comments here. Vigorous discussion of the images and techniques is welcome and encouraged. Criticism of any mod for their choice is not. Please note that this is "Picture of the Week"; do not confuse that with "best picture of the week", which is a concept of which we have no understanding.

POTW 13 Nov 2012

Postby stubbsy on Wed Nov 14, 2012 6:44 pm

This may be a small forum and it's not as active as I (or indeed many others) would like it to be, but damn there's some fine work shared here. This week I'll start by pointing out that POTW doesn't mean the image MUST have been posted this week so don't start on that OK :-)

For me I just can't go past the plethora of brilliant shots that flowed from the night lightpainintg outing to Sculptures by The Sea. Kudos to Gerry, Rodney, Suren, Cameron (and anyone else who was there and I've failed to mention). The image below stands out from a quality field by just a whisker. Congrats to Cameron for this image and the aforementioned photographers for their sterling efforts as well. An honourable mention to Gerry for his Assimilation shot HERE as well

Cameron's image below is from THIS thread
