Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. ACROS 100 November 2012I don't often post my film photos here, but in light of tomorrow film meet I thought I would share a few images from the last roll of film I have gotten back. This roll of film was in Katrina's FE2 for over a year by the time I decided to finish it.
I have to admit that I am very much a Fuji Neopan fanboy...it is the film that I turn to and trust to deliver results. I love its contrast and tonal range, its ability to withstand less than careful development and the consistancy of the results. This roll of film was developed through a machine running T-Max developer and scanned to TIFF using a Noritsu scanner (mini-lab scan). Most of these have only been quickly dusted and maybe some contrast adjustments (they scan a bit flat at times). For the full set view here Cameron

Re: ACROS 100 November 2012Hi Cam - really like the way #2 looks, #1 would then be my next pick.

Re: ACROS 100 November 2012Although a little soft (I think), I love no. 2.

Two or three lights, any lens on a light-tight box are sufficient for the realisation of the most convincing image. Man Ray 1935. Our mug is smug

Re: ACROS 100 November 2012I'm gonna say it....maybe it's just me, but I can't tell the difference between B&W film that has been digitised or a digital coloured image that has been carefully converted to black and white using appropriate software.
Maybe I need to see the prints in order to make the distinction. Suspect I'm gonna get some flack here but, I'm just sayin. Regards

at approx 800px you are not going to notice a difference, but when I have a full scan in front of me it is very obvious (these are 6774x4492 TIFF files to begin with) Cameron
