Each week, one of the moderators or administrators selects an image that, for whatever reason, catches their eye. Please feel free to add your comments here. Vigorous discussion of the images and techniques is welcome and encouraged. Criticism of any mod for their choice is not. Please note that this is "Picture of the Week"; do not confuse that with "best picture of the week", which is a concept of which we have no understanding.

Well it's all doom and gloom up here in the Sunshine State (/insert canned laughter)! Not so in the photographs posted to the forum, Some excellent abstracts, clever monos and some creative first images from new menbers are well worth looking at this week. I have chosen a bright, colourful abstract for PotW. Its creator is Remorhaz, and congratulations to him. At first glance, this image intrigued me, then it had me studying it for several minutes looking at its diverse elements. I like it a lot. Here is the photo: And the original thread can be seen here: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=43353

Thanks Trevor and others :) - it's interesting - not my own favourite image I've taken in the last week or two (I like it obviously (I noticed it, took it and posted it)) - but it just goes to show that each person out there can like and be drawn to completely different things - which is a great thing about our chosen art :)
