POTW 7th May 2013I am only a few days late, sorry peeps.
Craig's thread on his recent big ship cruise caught my attention for a number of reasons and not just for the recent attention that cruise liners have copped as of late in media The first image seemed to everyone favorite shot, however for me, the image from the series that showed more skill that just capturing a beautiful production was the low POV shot of the deck. Its a great example of making a image look great from a relatively ordinary scene, this for me made me look longer than 2 seconds and hence is my choice for POTW. The complimentary colours of the shoes and the deck chairs sets it off and the aussie flag gives the scene another aspect for the brain to work on, not mention the leading lines and the low POV. Great shot Craig. gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.

Re: POTW 7th May 2013It is well constructed and composed. For all the reasons you mentioned Gerry, it deserves the stage.
