We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. The D300 was dripping with water most of the day, as it has done on many previous occasions. A testament to how well the designers of the camera have weather sealed it.

Matt, the first one mate, how about a BW conversion for it? In this case also, i would straight the horizontal lines of the steps (ie rotate the image slightly), i don't think it adds tension in this frame, the overseeing arch of the SOH and the umbrella clad figure work really well.
