OK - what do other D70users do when they can't get onto the site?

...should be amusing!

Here's something - within a couple of minutes of coming back online, the site is reporting 15 users online + 6 guests!

..or maybe that's a tie-over from when it was last online?

Made dinner - pasta marinara, with a NZ chardonnay.

heheh, like Stubbsy, I had failed to notice it was down.

I was "testing" all other D2X in stock, as well as other items. Also, I had permission to bring one down to street level with AFS 300/2.8 II attached. Boy did I get some looks... ;) Unfortunately the lack of VR at that focal length had me thrown off - most pics were blurred due to slow shutter.

Look, I already knew you were an utter bastard, you don't have to rub it in!

I love your expression Trevor, nice one! A similar one my grandfather used to use was, "It'll make a blue wren fight an emu". :D

FWIW, somebody pulled the plug at my upstream provider at 6:10, disconnecting about half of the userbase. We were spared.

Till 6:43, when they pulled the plug on the rest of the userbase!.

housekeeping

Postby christiand on Wed Mar 16, 2005 10:50 pm

what is the best you can do when the D70users is down and your D70 is away for repair.

Photo housekeeping and retouching I guess.
Also no new image posting unless you grab images from previous shots.
It makes me rethink what I'd like to do in the future regarding posting here.
It gives me time to catch up with my files and folders.

Regards

First off i think of who pulled the plug, naturally i think of Leigh straight away, but i wont say no more, but for once i must have missed it as had a visitor with a computer under his arm riddled with viruses so format was in order, and now have another Box of Bourbon and Cola for my collection, still got 1/2 a slab from last time.
Anyhow i did see Birdy on msn so i should have guessed it, but yeh also had to go through pics as got an order for 6 different prints, with some going to Tasmania and so on so yeh enough to keep me busy.

No games on my computers, but in desperate need of another hard drive 180 gig just isn't enough. LOL
