Lake George is an interesting phenomenon along the long drive from Sydney to our nations Capital city (Canberra). It is an Endorheic lake, as it has no outflow of water to rivers and oceans and it is also long (25 x 10km), largely flat and extremely shallow, with a very small catchment. Resultant evaporation rates as well as a tendency for strong winds to blow the water back on itself explain the mysterious filling and drying episodes on both short term (hours) and long term (years) time scales that have been observed.

The conditions are not particularly favourable for you on the day, personally, i would Suren it or crop to pano to push the viewer's attention more to the wind turbines.

FYI, they are Suzlon S88 wind turbines 2.1 MW units of which you need at least 100 of them (operating at minimum speed, really none of them will achieve the 2.1 MW normally) to be equivalent to say, the lake Liddell on up in the hunter, from memory there is about 80 there which gives a bit over 100 MW of juice...prolly enough to power the desal plant at Kurnell.. any way i digress..
