The mill and the cross

This is all about an amazing movie that any photographer would appreciate.

The Mill and the Cross is a movie that came out in 2011 and stars Rutger Hauer, Michael York and Charlotte Rampling. Directed by Lech Majewski it is basically a movie inside a painting.

The painting is, The Mill and the Cross, by Peter Bruegel. The movie has virtually no dialogue, and little music but it is how the images have been put together to present a moving canvas of colour and emotion that is just so brilliant.

It is not often that a movie affects me in the way that this superb production has.

If anyone has a spare 90 minutes odd I would highly recommend watching this very unique movie.
