Truck Driver (waiting for business)I took this snapshot from our tourist bus.
Re: Truck Driver (waiting for business)This is a great candid but unfortunately it somehow defines the India of today. A man looking at pictures of women in a magazine when combined with the terrible happenings in India tells a more sinister story.

Re: Truck Driver (waiting for business)Thanks for that comment. I didn't realised it could be
interpreted that way in light of the current events in India. So, perhaps my timing has been unfortunate. At the time of clicking, I only saw a truck driver doing some reading while waiting in a queue for a job. When I was cropping the photo, I was bemused with the idea that he would be reading the Indian equivalent of Mills and Boom or "Monthly Bride", but I saw nothing sinister in it. Brides and grooms advertise their readiness for marriage listing the conditions and they or their families then go through elaborate negotiations before the wedding take place. Please don't think there was any hidden meaning or derogatory intention in this posting. It was meant simply as a candid shot - as candid as it guest.
Re: Truck Driver (waiting for business)'Monthly brides'.....where can I get a copy?
