Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. The cropped version: And another race as they were passing by: I only took the EF24-105mm and I had the zoom at 105 mm. Next time I will take the 70-200, which may be a better lens for this.

Re: Night at the racesI like the cropped version, however would crop just above the light poles, rather than through them.
Re: Night at the racesits nice light in these images, possibly using slower shutter and panning may have helped create some motion and drama within the image.
I like the last image gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
