Natural ArchNatural Arch, sometimes called Natural Bridge, is in the Numinbah Valley, close to the Queensland - NSW Border.
Over the years cascading water has eroded the roof a rock cave, creating an arch. This photo shows the entrance to the cave on the RHS and the water pouring through the opening that it has created. TFF (Trevor)

Re: Natural ArchTrevor this is an outstanding image. (It almost looks as though you have artificially lit the scene). The colours and composition are wonderful.

Re: Natural ArchThanks Fraser. Only natural lighting at about 9:30 am last Wednesday.
To be able to show the exteriors and the interior of the cave I have used HDR techniques, and that has given the colours a bit of a boost too. TFF (Trevor)

Re: Natural ArchIt actually looks surreal with green tinge on one side, and blue on the waterfall, but for me it works.

Re: Natural ArchExcellent photo.
Re: Natural ArchGreat shot Trevor - I have seen many images of this location over the years and I think yours has really done the place justice in a natural and representation manner.

No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: Natural ArchThanks everybody.
Just for interest I found this old photograph of the Natural Arch from a similar aspect to mine. It dates back to 1938. Quite a good b&w presentation really. TFF (Trevor)
