Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

Re: ForestThank you Gary.
Re: ForestThis shot doesn't work for me. Whilst I usually like imagery that has been altered and dramatized I find this image hard to look at. I guess that may be the point of your processing, and if that was the point then you have been very successful. I do however award very high points for creativity and experimentation. I guess it's never a bad thing to push the boundaries when it comes to the visual arts. But not an image I would hang on my living room wall.

Re: ForestStunning - the symmetry is shown to perfection and the colours give this shot a touch of fantasia. Sometime it pays to throw convention to the winds and with this you have excelled

Re: ForestThank you for your comments. I understand Matt's and value his comments since this type of photos/graphics tend to polarize people tastes. I have had quite a polarized feedback from those who love it and those who don't.
Re: ForestZaffs this one does nothing for me, and I usually admire your images. Just my two bob's worth of inane comment, but I can't get excited over the colours.
