BreezaWhen travelling between Willow Tree and Gunnedah in NSW one travels across the Breeza Plain. The road is fantastic and when I had my merc it was the one place I could put my foot down - actually hit 200kmph
There is one little rise on the plain where the township( ) of Breeza sits and this photo is of the general store - weather beaten and probably not a very busy place. Shot on the Nikon D1 with 28-105mm iso 200 f/16 at 1/250 sec To the guys and gals overseas a little bit of Australiana Chris

Chris,
Very good for an image taken while you're travelling at 200kph. Obviously the VR was working well. g.

This is great, Chris. Have you tried it in B&W or Sepia to add that really old sort of feel?? Would be interesting to see...
VR has been standard in the entire Benz range since 1896. Great shot Chris and, as a fellow Benzer I appreciate a good road and a good photo opportunity. Simon

I'm a sucker for pictures like that. Just love 'em. Maybe it's because my mum came from rural Arkansas (middle America).
Hard to decide which is better the B&W or the color, but I think I'd opt for the color because it shows how beautiful the skies are over there. Color me very jealous. Thanks for sharing it, Chris. Hard work pays off in the future. Laziness pays off now.
Steve, Is it true that if a couple from Arkansas move to CA and then get a divorce, they're still brother and sister? g.

Ha ha. Very funny. And yes. Hard work pays off in the future. Laziness pays off now.
Chris, great shot, very evocative.
Stormy, good idea on the BW Chris, I reckon Stormy's second suggestion of sepia might even be better, a fairly light sepia wash. Whaddya reckon? Greg - - - - D200 etc

Good shot mate, glad you pulled over and got the shot i bet.
I think it looks more comfortable in colour. PS Slow down and enjoy whats in between - say 140? Regards Sean "The more I learn, the less I realise I know"
