Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Re: Time I posted a fewI always enjoy your pictures Matt, but with #2, I cannot help thinking that you don't need all that black at the bottom of the picture. Maybe crop a bit off. I think leave a band about equal in with from the edge of the shadow to the white marker that delineates the edge of the platform. It still grounds the picture but doesn't pull the eye as much.

It's easy to be good... when there is nothing else to do
Re: Time I posted a fewThanks Greg, you make an interesting comment on #2. I did look at cropping it a number of times but each time I came back to the heavy black bottom....not sure why but it just seemed to anchor the image in a way that I found refreshing. The black void seems to add impact to the small figure in red and balance it out. I guess there could be many interpretations of this image and they would all be valid.

Re: Time I posted a fewI actually prefer 3 # 1 best. I am not sure about #2.
