Where on earth is this Gerry, and how on earth did you manage to capture so many falls in the one image?

Is that a vertical stitch-up Gerry? It has an amazing sense of perspective and colors are just to die for. It's almost like being there....I'm not a big fan of misty waters but this one works pretty well.Here's an idea...get hold of a blue, green and red filter (that's 3 separate filters), and then do a time exposure of a similar subject. Change the filters one third of the way through your calculated exposure so they all get the same time. Result should be that what moves during the different filtrations should express that colour and you end up with all the colours of the rainbow flashing through the water. It's something I remember playing round with many years ago.

Cheers mate - this is Voss in Norway, home of extreme sports and also twin falls, as this place is named, its actually quite a large waterfall and the scale is kind hidden here, this is at 16mm so pretty wide...

to give you an idea of the scale, look at the falls on the right hand side about half way up the image, the following is a shot from just below there of a second set of falls diverting off to the right of this image.

Hey Matt, this was a bracketed shot but not a stitched pano, I wish I had done a pano since I cutoff the rock at the bottom and also on the right...

Thats a very interesting idea with the coloured filters, that would certainly make for a different image (i am liking that ) - i wish I had picked up some of these a few years back when a camera shop cleaned out a whole bunch of coloured filters...
