Drone photos NZI am having a huge amount of fun photographing and filming with my Mavic Pro drone. Flying it is easy. Getting a good image/video is quite difficult. Here's one that turned out OK. Ligar Bay is about 15 minutes drive from Takaka, which is next to nothing. Remote but beautiful.

Re: Drone photos NZActually, I was discussing how impressive was your image and the versatility of this gadgets and how with them it is possible to take impossible pictures and video that otherwise would require you to risk life and limb. The people I was talking to told me how intrusive they can be and how they would have liked to have a rifle handy. I told them there were rules by the aviation authority on how and where to use drones, but they both replied: you have to catch who is doing it first.
It appears one lady was minding her own natural business behind a tree in the bush, not having a toilet nearby, when she looked up and saw one hovering above. Her father was working in his farm and looked up and saw one taking pictures of him going about his business. Both people thought they were being spied on.
