G'day from another new member

Postby kab on Mon Mar 21, 2005 12:55 pm

G'day All,

I'll start with a test post to say hi and introduce myself. My name is Keith and I live in St.Kilda Melbourne. I've been lurking around other D70 forums for the past year or so, but after perusing this site, it seems my time would be better spent here. Ya's seem like a friendly, honest enough bunch, so I'm looking forward to participating in some of the discussions...

A bitta background: I've had my D70 for just over a year now, and recently took it on a 4 month trip to South America and Europe. If everything worked ok, you can see some of these pix by accessing the link in my sig. As far as gear goes, I've got the D70, kit lens, 70-300, 35f2, + other stuff, and I recently purchased the sb-800 which I'm having loads of fun with.

I'm also looking forward to joining some of the Melbourne meets, and I'm spewing I missed the Weribee zoo one, as I've been planning to do this...may have to go it alone.

Enough about me.....

Till next time...
Regards
Keith

Hi Keith, welcome.

There will be a Melbourne meet soon, all being well. Stay tuned.

We also have several Melb members who do great wildlife stuff.

Hi Keith, welcome. 35mm f2 - that's a rare lens in this crowd. :)

Hope you join in on some of our other meets, even though you missed out on Werribee. The forum anniversary maxi-meet for instance, in August.

Hi Keith, and welcome.

Maybe we should get our new members to start these messages along the lines of "Hi, my name's Gary and I'm a D70aholic".
