freeware photo album

Postby noli on Fri Oct 22, 2004 11:04 am

hi all,

this is my first post here, having gotten my d70 just 2 weeks ago. i am looking for a freeware software that can compile and display my d70 shots just like an album and where i can also add some music while they are displayed onscreen. much like a screensaver probably. the software must also be able to be burned on CD. will appreciate your help.

i am enjoying the d70 so far as i start exploring the many features. hope to get inputs and tips from everyone specially those experienced users.

thanks in advance, keep on shooting!

cheers!

I think it's not the one he want, he want to be able to add music to it as well.

I hope i can help you, Irfanview allows you to select pictures arrange them in whatever order you want. You can then display them in a slide show and play a mp3.

official site is down?

here is a tucows link

Oops - trust me not to read the fine print! :(

Sorry - I was only trying to assist

I'll have a look

If you go to www,digitalworkshop.com, you can download a 30 day trial of Opus presenter - Expires after 30 days though. This program will do pictures and sound as well as interactivity if you want.

Found this depth of field calculator for those members who have Palm

http://sourceforge.net/projects/cdof/

You could try Open Office. I think it has a similar PowerPoint type player

http://download.openoffice.org/1.1.3/index.html

Hope this helps

How about just some simple javascript or xhtml? create an autorun.inf on the cd to start it up on boot?

As posted above you could also just make up a presentation in OO and use the same procedure to start it up when the cd is injected.
