Yeh.. I reckon the noise makes the photo look almost like a painting.. very artistic.

I agree, the noise - such as it is - looks like grain to me, and adds atmosphere to the shot.
I really like it Bruno, great colour, dramatic. Well done. Greg - - - - D200 etc

It looks like an old biblical scene - I'm waiting for an old bearded man in flowing robes to appear.
I like it.
great shot... i wouldn't be worried about the iso... shot looks great as it is...
cheers http://www.markcrossphotography.com - A camera, glass, and some light.
Bruno - you should feel proud that you have caught a pic of the end of the world - very nice

Thanks for the replies. Yeah i was experimenting with high iso, just wish i had one at a lower number for comparison. To improve this i think i should have put maybe some buildings in the foreground? Anyway still pretty happy with it.
Cheers
I really like this, Bruno, and I wouldn't worry about putting buildings in the foreground. This, to me, feels like I'm floating amongst the clouds (no, I haven't opened a bottle of red!), and I really like the colours. The dark grey cloud next to the blue sky, and the yellow (smog?) down the bottom!
Just for interest, Where did you take it? Was it from a plane?

...Just for interest, Where did you take it? Was it from a plane?[/quote] I took this down at the rocks from one of the peers. It was towards the lane cove area. I wish it was from a plane! Cheers
