Fishbone with the 105The seeds on the fishbone fern. First post from the 105, pretty rough and ready, but I wanted to post something. Greg - - - - D200 etc

No apologies needed, Greg. I think that's a sweet little shot and a neat little plant. I've always liked ferns.
Mic, the limit switch keeps the auto focus from searching its full range, limiting it either to .45m to infinity or .45m to min focusing distance. Hard work pays off in the future. Laziness pays off now.

mic, i just used aperture priority, f5.6, 1/320 sec, and let the camera do the exposure work. The uncropped frame was fairly meter friendly. Morning sun. Not trying to be a smartarse mic, but it is worth looking at the lens' manual Greg - - - - D200 etc
