Just wanted to say........

Postby Killakoala on Sat Oct 23, 2004 9:38 pm

I just wanted to say that you guys and gals are far and away the best bunch of people i have ever had the pleasure to share a forum with in twenty years of BBS's and internet forum groups.

The interactivity we have here is truly amazing. The kindness and generosity i see here everyday still astounds me.

Thank you for making D70Users.com the best and most enjoyable 'second home' i have lived in.

Thank you each and all.

Now back to my Boag's..........
Steve.

I am never sure whether you are serious or not Matt.

Just on the unlikely chance that you are - it is a brand of beer.

I was serious. I'm a philistine when it comes to beer. Thanks for the education. (By the way, is it any good?)

It's Taswegian - inbred and dangerous. :)

While I do drink beer, I'm much more partial to a nice drop of chardonnay or a good red.

And I always keep a bottle of Champagne in the fridge, in case of emergency.

Matt, James Boags premium ale is the best beer in the country. (IMHO)

It is brewed on the banks of the Esk river in Launceston, Tasmania at one of the oldest breweries in Australia. It was founded in 1881.

It isn't bad Matt. I don't drink much beer these days, but it is a good drop.

Like Gary, wine is my tipple, mainly reds, although I enjoy a white from time to time.

Coopers, brewed at the tail end of the Murray has wholesome flavours, is a family business, and while listening to guitar (see other forum post) and using the D70 to take photos of chardonnay drinking forum members should come close to a mystical experience. Failing that home brew is a variable fall back.

That explains the sediment at the bottom of the bottle. :)

Grange ??

BBQ ???

I'm thinking something a tad more sublime than a bbq ...

Like, a picnic on a TGV @ 200KPH, travelling from, say, Paris to Monaco.
