Yeah I sometimes browse it. Since I got my D70, I don't browse that site as much often.

That site is good for reviews.

I have found DP Review annoying lately... There are way to many posts, so you can't find anthing, and the people that ask for feedback on their images only really want "nice" feedback on their images.

This forum is 110% better :)

Yep. People are too soft these days. A little criticism can make them cry instead of making us hard and tough like in the olden days (<1990)

Only to look for something specific (very rarely). I find that this forum is much more helpful, particularly if you have a "dumb" question. I know that I can post on here and not be shot down in flames, be answered quickly and people are just so much nicer!

I actually don't feel intimidated to post here.

On dpreview (even though they seem pretty nice) there are just so many people watching. Much more community feel here and still lots of knowledgeable people too.

I've basically given up surfing there and this is my new home. Also because there is a bit less traffic I don't waste a whole work day online!

yep this is a great forum and as others have said it is friendly.

I do peruse the other forums - photonet, DPreview, Nikonians etc just in case something interesting comes up that has not been approached on the D70Users forum.

Since I started browsing this forum every day, I no longer really go to DP Review. I some times go to Nikonians, but only if I need to find information on something that is not available here. I like the friendliness of the members here, as well as having a forum that is Australian based.

Cheers
