New Member - Absolute Beginner

Newer members often state that they think their question is too basic, or stupid, or whatever, to be posted. Nothing could be further further from the truth in any section at DSLRUsers.com, but especially here. Don't feel intimidated. The only stupid question is the one that remains unasked. We were all beginners at one stage, and even the most experienced amongst us will admit to learning new stuff on a daily basis. Ask away! Please also refer to the forum rules and the portal page

Hi all .. just a thanks to the site and its members as i have gained alot from this site as a guest.. as a absolute beginner i hope i ask all the silly questions that others are too afraid to ask ..

coolbeer6 - welcome to the forum. Like in part of your name 'cool', you have come to a 8) place. No question/s are too silly. If you have a problem get it off your chest.

Like 'sirhc55' has said, please provide where you are from, as this does assist people when answering any questions. For example: different seasons if you are from overseas, plus time differential.
