Picture of the Week - 28-03-05Hi, y'all.
The original image is the first in this thread. The lighting screams "alone" to me, as does the subject matter. And how more "alone" can one be, than dead ? Well captured. Congratulations to Sheepie, who took this week's Photo of the week at our Jenolan Caves expedition a week ago. g.

Thanks Gary - I'm honoured
There were a heap of great shots out of that weekend, and I must say I'm surprised mine was chosen. I have to say this shot was one of my favourites, due to the simplicity of it all. It was actually taken pretty much as a 'snap-shot' while the lens was still a little fogged (those there will know what I mean). Credit goes to the metering on the D70 for the shot! Adjustments made before posting amounted to a little levels work (to up the contrast and darken a little mostly) and sharpening. Added the border, and posted Here's the pic again for those who don't want to go to the original thread... Again, thanks for picking this one - and well done to all who went on the trip, there's been some real ripper shots *** When getting there is half the fun! ***
Well done Sheepie,
Yeah, I thought this one used the light really well, and very interesting subject. When are you joining the CSI Team Sheepie. Well done. Mic.
Congratulations Sheepie. A very emotive shot, deserving of the title.

Hiya wolf in sheeps clothing,LOL nah sheepie great pic as it is simple but very affective. Job well done and well doesn't always have to be a spectacular shot to get rated high but as yours is simple but did the job and a nice capture with the light coming down onto the bones.
