big pix, Looks great with the Blue behind him or her ?
Is that the sky & did you get close enough to check if Male or Female Mic.
Late afternoon blue sky, a bit hard to balance the flash and the backlight as the light was getting darker with each exposure, only 6 exposures, 2-3 are a little soft, I don't like spiders and tried to get as close as possible. Might use a longer lens tomorrow and a mono pod
hope this helps Big Pix PS A long lens because I realy do not like spiders {where is the baygon} Cheers ....bp....

In a word, WOW! What settings did you use on the flash/metering? Every time I have taken something like this I have tended to get overexposed highlights.
*** When getting there is half the fun! ***
Just changed the shutter speed and F stop till what I got was a reasonable exposure. Treat the background with the shutter speed and the spider with the F stops, as the flash is controled with F Stops and you can shoot any shutter speed, so it is just a ballance of the 2
Hope this helps Big Pix Cheers ....bp....
