portrait of a weddingheres some photos of a vietnamese/chinese wedding I attended in adelaide
the grooms men bearing gifts the brides side waiting to receive the gifts the bride in traditional dress the bride portrait of a bride wedding ceremony tech stuff... 50mm F1.8 on most shots SB800 bounce off ceiling on all photos (legendary flash!!)
Great photos but with some of the photos of the bride, she has a purple tinge to her
I thought the bridesmaids had some sort of tattoo happening before i realised it was the back of their dress
hehe
when the first few shots loaded and i thought they were dentists. Life's pretty straight without drifting

Genji,
i reason I thought they were dentist was that you were only showing their back to the camera. "we can't shown you their faces because their dentist" with you pics with the greeb tint in the bg was the any fluro light on at the time? Life's pretty straight without drifting

i am trying a new raw workflow.
catagorise photos in different light conditions ie. incan with flash bounce/slow incan with flash bounce/no red eye Fluoro with flash...etc that way i can batch process...but sometimes 1 just gets away... i cant remember the house had natural light with incan in 1 room and fluoro in the next etc...bit confusing.
Good shots. Esp. like the portrait shots. Nice use of ambient light.
Last image needs a touch more exposure I think. Yeah, mixed lighting is a pain in the a$$. I find gray cards are useful if you have access to the room & can spare a minute to get a shot. Otherwise the groom's collar I find is useful for sampling when the bride is in the traditional dress or the wedding dress is off white. Any reason for the pink dress? Traditionally red for wedding & any other colour for engagement. I guess she prolly just liked pink. How do you like the 50 1.8 as an all around lens? Or do you change? Cheers Joolz
