The Model needs a Wax Job
But seriously, a great shot. I think you are going to tempt us mark with a set up like yours. Well done Mark. Mic.
hahaha... believe it or not it's only because of the increase in highlights and contrast... not anywhere near that hairy to the naked eye thankyou for the comments... cheers http://www.markcrossphotography.com - A camera, glass, and some light.
a good image..........a little work in PSCS to give the apple some blur or movement would make it a great image........good studio lighting...... but your main light is a little to low as the arm is a little flat. Raise it up to give more shape, or it is over filled
big pix Cheers ....bp....

thanks for the tips big pix....
cheers http://www.markcrossphotography.com - A camera, glass, and some light.
I’ll go with Big Pix on this shot Mark - the first thing I thought was motion blur on the apple before scrolling down and seeing Big Pix’s comments.
Keep on experimenting Chris

big pix... chris.... better??? cropped a bit more to get rid of the long arm and give a bit more focus to the apple. added motion blur to apple as per suggestions...
cheers http://www.markcrossphotography.com - A camera, glass, and some light.
Hope you don't mind Mark, just trying to show you what I think somebody else had in mind regarding the motion blur. Perhaps I've taken it a tad far but the attempt was to get a slight trailing blur with the subject slightly out of focus (which I've gone too far). Darryl (aka Kipper)
Nikon D200
no problems kipper... ahhh... now i see what they wanted...
http://www.markcrossphotography.com - A camera, glass, and some light.
But then again why they wanted motion blur I don't know because I think it's not what the photo was all about in the first place. Given the title it's not an apple leaving your hand, more the apple there for the taking

no... i don't like the motion... personal taste

Adam and Eve, not eva
id have a go at almost creating a storyline... goes for apple, apple in hand, bite out of apple, arm lying on its back with apple bitten out of having rolled out... the kinda green poison apple scene with snow-white lifeless on the ground with the apple half consumed lying next to her... keep up the great ideas! JD

VNAF, My Beloved Country and Airspace
I think you are right .......the blur is wrong.........another idea ........darken down the background with a dark at the top and white at the bottom, this will make your subject stand out a lot more.......
cheers big pix Cheers ....bp....

lol I admire you can speak more than one language! I dont seem to be wired that way.
Im sure my *insert-your-primary-language here* would be rather interesting! JD
I like the original thought, which seems well executed. Not sure that I like the color, or lack thereof, of your arm.

i have rotated the apple a little in temptation2... does this work better for people?
http://www.markcrossphotography.com - A camera, glass, and some light.
G'day,
Good idea, very invented and creative... I like the second of the original two for cropping (without the elbow), dunno about the apple with blurred movement, doesn't work for me... The apple seems to be hovering in mid air though, seems strange to me, wonder if it would be worth a try having the apple hanging from a branch, and the hand about to take it off the branch??? Dunno about the wedding ring. but the boss might not be too keen on you taking it off huh (ummm, assuming it was your arm?) For what it's worth, at least I'm trying Cheers. Aka Andrew
hahahahaha.... http://www.markcrossphotography.com - A camera, glass, and some light.
Kerry (and others)... this is the version which my wife processed.... she likes a tighter crop and all colour. comments/preference? cheers http://www.markcrossphotography.com - A camera, glass, and some light.
I prefer the colour version.
How would it look if you rotated it 90 CC?? g.

I like your wife's rendition, grasp, assuming that a little USM was applied during her agreeable moment.
She has PS talents that I can only dream of... I think I need to speak with her about a contract to process all my stuff... my gallery of so-so photos

Thanks jethro... i can't take all credit... a lot of my ideas come from shots by other photographers which i have seen... i just tweak the idea/message a bit to get what i want. cheers http://www.markcrossphotography.com - A camera, glass, and some light.
Well, yeah, that's how I figured it worked. That's the way all the women I know work..... my gallery of so-so photos

Mark - your wife was correct in her assessment of the look - the all colour shot works better and the 90 degree turn works too. Not sure if I can see some boot polish on your hand or not
