Brilliant concert at Star City Casino

Postby Matt. K on Sun Apr 03, 2005 9:15 pm

Went to a concert at Star City's Showroom last night and it was brilliant! The show is called "women in voice" and showcases the talents of 6 very talented Australian singers, including the incredible Zulya Kamalova. The set was beautiful and if any of you have any contacts there at the casino then get in there with your D70. The music was world class and in every respect this is a show not to be missed if you enjoy great music. The other stars are Jenny Morris. Barbara Forham, Kate Miller- Heidki, Allison St Ledger and Queenie Van de Zandt.
Highly highly recommended.
And you get to sit at a table and can drink wine whilst you are being entertained. (If only I could get my camera in there).
Regards

There's a reason for that Easts jumper Sheepie is wearing. :)

Jenny Morris is 'choice bro'.

Stubbsy is correct - she is as 'Aussie' as I am. Probably less actually - I have an Aussie father.

She's yet another Kiwi who came over to milk the music scene here

Just trying to remember her Sister's name - she's over here too, one of the big 'Aussie' Country stars

hehe
