A few shots.Just a few shots taken over the last couple of days:
No adjustments so far, just converted to JPG and resized for web. Comments? I can't wait to get my Macro lens. Should be next week. These two just included as the birds were trying to kill each other and in the process gave me some reasonable opportunities. Unfortunately not sharp shots: And prepare to get wet: - Nick

1 and 5 are my choice. nicely done and the lens flare actually works quite well in the first shot.
cheers http://www.markcrossphotography.com - A camera, glass, and some light.
Flowers always do it for me and as Mark has said the flare in #1 works. I am amazed at the number of ships standing off Newcastle, unless they are cloned

I actually prefer #4 to #5 as I like the perspective. It feels like the water is heading for me. Like the others I think #1 is good too. The spider one is a little ho hum though. Roll on the macro lens Peter

Chris: Nope not cloned, there are virtually always that many ships hanging around newcastle. A nice pano might get 10+ on most given days.
I might have a go at making the sky bluer in #1. The flower in #2 is more vibrant in the RAW file. Peter: The spider shot was just an attempt to capture the colours reflected off the spider web. I have ones that have better colours, but due to flare are rather hazy throughout the whole shot. Should have grabbed a piece of cardboard to stop some of the flare. I have more to look through (before I even attempt to PP any) - didn't get round to it as NC crashed (I need more ram really). Thanks for the comments. - Nick

Very moody Nick, although maybe a trifle (but only a trifle) too dark

I love #6...pity there was not "3" in the shot! Could have used it for the challenge ( maybe some PS work can fix that?)
Would have been great to have all the water reflection of the birds in there. Nice pics. I know nutzinc
