Sigma 70-200 gone to the dogs again

Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Beautiful pics, Kerry. I really love the first....don't you just want to cuddle it? Fabulous results for 1600 and hand held. Well done!

Thanks for the very kind compliments. :D You're right, I do have to get out more. Unfortunately, this isn't the best time of the year for photo ops. :( But, I do have a few from last season that I'll be posting for your pain or pleasure.

Many thanks to John, Stormygirl and Fozzie for your kind comments as well! :)

Kerry - what can I say!

My last dog was a Samoyed as per #1 and he was adorable. I named him Stoli - unfortunately my ex-wife got him (and the house)

Thank you for sharing - both pics are great :D

Kerry, you don't happen to do Dog Portraiture as a Business do you ?

You could sell these to their loving owners.

Mic. PS : If you haven't thought of this and you do ( I want a cut ) :D :D

Hi Mic,

No, my real job has very little to do with photography. Dunno how much of a market there might be for animal portraits and whether or not I could put up with the owners while trying to make it work... That's one of the reasons I got out of wedding/portrait stuff back in the 70s. I don't do the slave routine very well... :?
