Mic

Smugmug is only US$29.95 per year. Many of us use it. If you enter a members code when signing up you get another $5 off so it's $24.95 (and the member whose code you use gets a $10 rebate for each new signup).

If you go this path, enter the following code in the Email/Coupon field when you sign up: 3FGgWmmqgYrkg

You would end up with a url like mic_oz.smugmug.com or whatever (just checked - mic.smugmug.com is already taken)

Very easy to use, yet powerful (you even get stats on what pics are being looked at most each month).

To signup go to http://www.smugmug.com/price/free-trial.mg

Cheers

Darb, I assume the "hot chick" photo in anonymous was just a one night stand for you and not long term, she doesn't seem to appear in any other photos. ps do you still have her phone number?

Mic - I would personally go for the smugmug option too. I went down the pbase road and whilst it serves my purposes I like the look and feel of smugmug MUCH more! Go for it!

Flickr seems to be the funnest and orients itself so that you're involved with other photogs and photos that you're interested. It becomes a little addictive as it is a world unto itself. It's free too, but the free account hosts 100 images viewable, once you hit 100 images the first one becomes unviewable. Upload and posting is really easy. The pro account is $40 american and that get's you unlimited storage space.

There are some articles that go into most of the more popular ones, google it and see what seems to fit your style. I love Flickr and everyone I turn onto it seem to really like it as well. Although the pro account seems more expensive than the Smugmug one...you should atleast go look at it, it really is unique.

I use Photobucket (free) for hosting of my images. Very user friendly.
