That would be highly strange paddling out and seeing a yacht careening toward you ... makes new meaning of a dropin doesnt it !

Brad, doesn't look like fun at all. One thing to have 5kg of board chasing you in a raging surf, another to have 5 tonnes of yacht chasing you. :wink: Hope your arm is all healed now, and you cant tell the weather by it.

I've seen this image before, it's in a local fish and chip shop in Manly - I love looking at it and wondering what the hell happened to the skipper and his crew...hehe.

later in life it may be an issue for me, but its pretty much fine now. Cant quite straighten, but hasnt stopped me ... and its as strong as before.

had 2 x 6 inch chemically sharpened titanium pins, 2 x 2.5 inch screws, an extra pin and some wire.

Then 6 months later i had to have it removed.

Needless to say I nearly broke my other arm when dad walked into the hospital with a big fat sorry. (he should have known that bombies break in the channel we were in ... perfectly calm day, sunny, hot, but thumping great swell ... he was driving the boat.) that pic is not our boat, but same size, and similiar circumstances.

this is what they pulled out of my arm ... chemically sharpened so they can push into bones and what not ! :shock: ;
