Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Dog on board

Driving to work the other day I took this photo (don't ask I've gone slightly photo-mad since I got the damn thing).

The original was about 1/3 larger and off-balance. Also, the dog was nearly invisible and you could not read the letters. Some magic wand and sharpening and here is the result:

Yup, you're hooked, addicted, beyond redemption. No cure, except for more lenses.....

Polarizer would have helped a great deal, perhaps with the spot meter. But, you still got the message across. :)

For those that drive on the wrong side of the road, I wasn't in the passenger seat when this was taken!

Cool picture.

He can't wait to get out of there. Funny how expressive they can be.

There is a bright patch on the right that I would clone out, otherwise it's a fun pic.

Hi, I'm not sure how I would clone out the bright patch my understanding of the terminology and technique is not very good...

Any suggestions on how to go about it?

It is a fun photo which is why I posted it - I would not rate it very highly as a photo in terms of composition etc. but it was a good moment caught on film (so to speak).

Cheers,
J
