would love to see some more of these - and what was your 'keeper rate'? As you are someone who is used to taking fast moving objects, would be interested to know more about this experience :)

Hi Matt, yes well i fly model planes and well this even looks hard as to yeh standing up there with remotes making these cars go around so danm fast is unreal and very hard to keep focus on these machines. I wasn't there for long as i needed to have a stretch from my 4 hour so drive and mate wasn't home at time so yeh 10 mins and i was outa there.
Here is a few more, if i had more time there was more setting up but yeh next time maybe.
Bit blown this 1

If they could figure out a way of hiding the aerial on the cars, they would look extremely realistic...

Nice shots John...

Thanks Geoff, Something different i think and yes i would love one and well they are no cheaper than my planes, actually maybe dearer in some things and well only differance is with a plane if you loose the plot, you could be looking at a lot og fire wood in 1 hit. I have only ever done this once when i was learning to fly, but well it is good fun and you need to remember the last input you made. These cars go like the wind and at $700+ like any hobby it's not cheap but all fun.
Cheers

Nice shot NetMagi, but yeh these look to expensive to do that but yes all good fun. That is a smaller car than these ones and i am told that these ones are smaller than some of the others that race there as well, would be good to get there when they had a race day to watch.
Cheers

Great shots Big John. They only go towards confirming my belief that you are indeed a masochist when it comes to capturing fast moving objects!
