Gonna bump this for the reflections in the black pot

Postby Matt. K on Sat Apr 09, 2005 10:37 pm

Over a thousand posts and this is my first bump. The reflections were taken at Birdies place and they were formed on the surface of a black, glazed pot. They have a quality...methinks.

You certainly have an eye for it Matt, nice work as always. Who needs fisheye? :)

Sorry I couldn't be there today, I took my folks to the airport then endured the fun of registering my (not so) new car at the RTA, and sorted out the insurance. At least it's all done now!

The colours in the pot are mesmerising. Great work as always Matt.

Matt. Bumping so soon after posting  - more posts each day = easier to miss things.

You're right about these. The second reflection one is a ripper. For me it works better because you have an edge in shot. The first one is just a little too abstract, whereas the edge anchors the shot somehow.

OT: It's the content that takes a while... you know, like the writing on screenplays and such.
