Brittania nocturnal surrealityAbout 7 minute exposure (my longest ever)
F8 (kit lens) Brittania Cropped and WB adjusted in Photoshop Adjusted tint slightly. Critique and comment welcome. I was shooting something else when I noticed this trickle of light.
Fantastic result! Is it using auto exposure or did you take a punt on the exposure time???

------------------------------------------------------- So many things to do - so little time.
Hello Steve,
I don't believe I've yet had the pleasure. Welcome to these wonderful forums. I took a punt. The viewfinder was completely black so I guessed on composition as well (barely a trickle of light). Basically I played brick breaker on my cell phone until I felt like it had enough time. I decided that if I didn't catch it right I'd go as it was getting late. I'll post the picture of the factory where the light came from.
Thanks for the comments. Here's where the light was coming from.
This pic is pretty good I think, but doesn't hold a candle (pun intended) to my nocturnal shack shot above.
now that is some kool 'natural' lighting
great shot...is it possible to up the levels a tad tho? or does it take away from the pic?
Masterful work Dooda. Now I have mobile phone game lust to go with my lens lust.

Dee,
I was fairly conservative about levels as it really boosts the shack while only affecting it's environment minimally, giving it a supernatural effect (not that it's wrong, but I generally wait a little while before making too drastic of a change). Does it look too dark on your computer? I'm also careful because the noise is fairly pronounced the more lighth I give it. Remarkably though the finished version is not much different from the original.
I like this shot a great deal, Dave. Very nice.

A typical Australian saying Dooda : Bloody Brilliant
I would be proud to hang this one on my wall. Well done. Mic.
