Why the D100 and not the D2H or the D2x(if available)?

I take it that you are using the D70 ATM.

yeah, ihave a d70 atm,
just after something which i could use to fire remotly and provide me as a back-up in case my d70 drops dead.
i haven't seen the d2x or a d2h available for hire in melbourne.

Is this where you are getting it from?

Kayell

I guess if it's for 1 weekend and you really need it then AUD175 is ok.

and the prices don't include insuranace which is clearly displayed on their web page. plus they always try to do a sales pitch for you to buy something.

AUD175 is cheaper then Baltronics price AUD221 so I guess your quote is a good price then. I did notice they did have the D1X for rental.

thanks genji,
they also charge insurance on top of that price thats why i am not going to them.
i was planning to go to camera exchange which have them for 175$ plus 20% for students, but they don't offer insurance.
still deciding................

well the drift nationals are on this weekend at calder park.
so ive decided to use the d100 as a remote camera via a pw so i can cover two area at once. plus if things go bad i can use it as a backup.
