Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. we have you cornered.Fighting over food. D70 + AFS 300F4.
HIThanks. I have sold my 80 - 200 f2.8 one-touch and the 70-300G to buy the AFS 300F4.
It's my longest lens and my favourite. I still have the 50 f1.8, 18-70 kit lens. A special portrait lens will be next on the list. regards, Arthur
Hi
Hi Glen, Thanks. It was after much considerations and analysis of my style and preference. I realised that I am using 200mm almost all the time including macro. After using the 300 F4 for a week, I don't miss the zoom. The fixed focal length forced me to be work harder on composition and anticipation of photo opportunities. regards, Arthur
This is the photo that one you posted the other day should have been. I am glad you got it coz it looks great. Well done.
Steve.

Nice capture. An interesting and exciting shot. A good 'story' picture.
Maybe just a little tighter crop with a little off of the bottom and (less from) the right (?) or maybe not. Hard work pays off in the future. Laziness pays off now.
