Assistance with reducing camera shakeGuys/Gals,
I've recently purchased a Nikon 28-200 mm lens and of course it has amplified an existing issue I have with unsteady hands. I am trying to use my current tripod but it is not that portable and is not super stable (eg is better for the video camera) I understand there are monopods out there, my questions are: 1 - Are they compact for taking on walks (eg fold up) 2 - Given they are a mono pod are they easy to use re different camera angles 3 - What is a good brand that won't kill the budget ? Cheers ahead..
Fiesol, Manfrotto and Gitzo are your friends, and this has been discussed many times on these forums.
I just did a forum search on the word "monopod" and it returned 110 matches. I'd respectfully suggest you review the content of some of those threads; there's nothing that's not already been answered within them, and I suspect that all of the questions you may have, along with any suggestions that might be made, will be answered within them. The one entitled "Monopod discussion" might be a good starting point. ![]() g.
