First timeThought I would have a go at posting an image. This was taken recently on a trip to central NSW. I came across this beautifully crafted old cart (whats left of it). Shows how dry the countryside is at the moment.

nice pic!!
One critique I have is that it might have been nice to go a little wider and get the bottom of the wheel New page

Welcome, Pluto. A fine shot though some straightening of the horizon would really help.

Hi Pluto and welcome. I agree on the straightening of the horizon but I do like the pic as is. The tight crop to the cart with the dry plain and the tree all add up to a very nice pic.

Hey Pluto, and welcome.
The picture is nice, but like everyone is saying, you really need to straighten that horizon. Also, if it's been cropped out, put the rest of the wheel back in! But a good first post. Producer & Editor @ GadgetGuy.com.au

In many ways you are right Oneputt. It is not always ”right” to straighten a horizon. The 2 exceptions IMO are plains and seascapes. But, in the end it is up to the photographer as to what he/she perceives to be right. Chris

Nice effect, maybe a little less of the wagon and definitely straighten the horizon, makes me dry just looking at it, oh well, time for another cup of Madura tea or three (loose leaf of course!). Max
