wonder the impact on the products will be future / longterm. Great to see 2 very good companies being combined.

This can only mean bad things in the medium/long term - building essentially a monopoly. I'm awaiting Microsoft's laughable attempt at retalliation. maybe IE7 won't have any compatibility for flash or shockwave.

I can see the integration of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks etc as being a positive move IMO :D

I fear the loss of Freehand, the merging of Dreamweaver and GoLive, and the merging of Adobe's SVG technology and Macromedia's Flash and Director technologies... :cry:

if they could (highly doubtful) keep each company seperate and continue develop their products accordingly... that would be very nice.

Maybe a little more integration between the 2 companies products... but please leave their popular programes - fl, dw, dir, ps, ill, ind, fw alone!
