Mini - Meet, Belmore, Saturday 16 April - Report for OnyxSeems that I'm producing this short report later and later. Hope that it gives Onyx some insight into what he's been missing
Roll Call : Sheepie, Gleff, Stubbsy, Woody, Rick, Glamy, Huynhie, MattK, Pluckaduck Birddog continued the Belmore version of Aladdin's Cave with Sekonic Lightmeters (L-358 and L-558 ?) which meant glamy had a different kind of lens lust to add to an already healthy dose More great prints from MattK which always prove his well made contention that the photograph is not finished until it's committed to high quality paper - if you haven't yet seen them, then seeing is believing Meanwhile the new sub-branch of the Forum, the Mrs. Birddog cooking and sewing circle was in full swing with Andrew providing his culinary skills under close supervision of the ladies The result was yet another outstanding lunch which is always well appreciated by everyone present. Thanks yet again Regards
Joe
Apologies to the people that I missed.
When you are surrounded by wonderful gadgets with great people to discuss them with and a stomach full of outstanding cooking, at my age you tend not to manage all the detail Still, I support BBJ's philosophy, there's nothing scary about advancing years if you can get a recharge by visiting Belmore. You should have been there, Onyx Regards
Joe
Don't apologise to me Joe, I just noticed the date on the topic is 16/4. I wasn't there, I was at the one on the 23rd
I'd give myself a big DOH! but it may be misinterpreted (or not as the case may be)
Are you sure you don't mean DUH! John??? But then again, as you directed it at yourself I suppose it doesn't really matter...
Cheers, John
