D70s released - pictures!

Postby Onyx on Fri Apr 29, 2005 8:43 pm

As you can see, not much changes.

A new slot on the left side for the MC-1 corded remote, 2" LCD preview screen and a black plastic shutter release with dark grey on-off rotater switch was about the only differences I can appreciate between this new D70s and the current D70.

As these images may depict one of the world's first actual production units available online, and I don't want to see them copied elsewhere hence the intrusive watermarks. Sorry to have to do it...

I was thinking about hanging out for the D100 replacement before investing in another D-SLR but may pick up a D70s anyway.

ECS in Sydney have posted their prices on the D70s body and kit ....

D70s Body only $1395
D70s/18-70 kit $1850

Ted's prices are also up

D70s Body only $1500
D70s/18-70 kit $1999
